CW Physique Offers Personalized Training to Keep Clients On the Right Fitness Track

If it hadn't been for a personal injury, Cristina Panagopoulos may have never gotten into the business of helping people transform into the best shape of their lives. The owner and founder of Chicago-based CW Physique aspired to be a dancer, but ventured into personal training and bodybuilding after an injury in college sidelined her dance career. Since launching her personal training career in 2006 she's realized her dream of helping dozens of clients achieve their fitness goals.

"I got into personal training while attending the University of Illinois and was hooked ever since," recalled Panagopoulos. "I loved helping people change their lifestyles and life habits. It's very rewarding to see and I knew it was my calling."

Although she's worked as a personal trainer for over a decade, she founded CW Physique in 2014, specializing in exercise and nutritional consulting. Along with trainers Amanda Pesch and Stephanie Madden, CW Physique offers in-home private personal training, in-studio personal training (held at various affiliated studios throughout Chicago and Arlington Heights), and online fitness and nutrition programs.

Panagopoulos is approachable yet professional according to numerous five-star online reviews. She doesn't believe in pushing clients too hard and forcing them to feel pain. She does, however, place an emphasis on executing moves with the proper form and strength training.

"I believe that strength training is one of the most beneficial things you could do for your body and you do NOT have to run to loose weight!" she stated. "It helps increase lean muscle which in turn helps decrease body fat, it helps with postural alignment, can help with certain types of diseases such as osteoporosis and much, much more."

A single training session is $100 while several packages for multiple training sessions are available, as well as online nutritional plans. A complimentary consultation session is available to all new clients. Panagopoulos has also authored a cookbook called "Healthy Eating: Balanced Meals For Men and Women" that is available through her website.

Her clients come from a variety of background and ages, and all of them rave about their results after using CW Physique' services. Besides losing weight and gaining energy, many report regaining range of motion after injuries and a pain-free lifestyle.

All of which makes Panagopoulos proud, as well as how comfortable and honest her clients are with her.

"Finding a good trainer is a lot about trust," she said. "My clients feel comfortable with me enough to tell me when they cheat (even though I'll get mad), tell me when things are good and not so good, and they believe in my process of results. I always tell potential clients, if you give me 110%, I'll get you to your goals."
