Get Up And Moving At Cross Kicks Fitness

For the folks of Roselle, Illinois, Cross Kicks Fitness is the place to go to get fit and have fun doing it. Operations manager Christa Knight took some time to answer our questions about Cross Kicks.

What ​was the inspiration behind opening Cross Kicks Fitness? How long have you been open?

It's been roughly five years since our first club opened up in Roselle, IL. The concept was developed in a consumer mind-set by founder Timothy Patrick. Unlimited training, no class times, with a trainer included for a few dollars per day was a void in the market place. It's so hard to stay focused when time is a limiting factor and not to mention the cost of private training. You really need an expert to get results when it comes to fitness. Timothy joined forces fitness expert and with co-owner Tony Wuebker, and it's been a success since 2013. We have just about 1000 active members, and hundreds of thousands of pounds lost! We are inspired by our clients every day.

How would you describe the style of training or types of workouts that clients will experience at Cross Kicks Fitness?

Cross Kicks Fitness is a specialized fitness center focuses on a 40 Minute Power Workout with no class times, unlimited training and a trainer always included. When you arrive at the gym the workout is already posted for you in anywhere between 6 and 12 stations. The workouts change every day and offer a variety of techniques that incorporate strength training, boxing, cross training, cardio, weight training, and more.

I read that you have a 90 Body Makeover Challenge that "Guarantees Results." What do you think it is about this challenge that makes it so successful?

There are many factors to our 90-Day Challenge that make it successful, but one of the main features is the trainer accountability. Many people have the drive and want to lose weight or workout, but they need someone to hold them accountable to their goals. The trainers meet with each participant every week for a weigh-in and three times throughout the program they will get an InBody scan that shows progress the scale can't show.
