Oh! That's Good

Back in 2012, the creative minds of two chefs joined up to form oh! In Aurora, Ill.

Chef Darrin Dybas came equipped with over 20 years of experience in management and as a chef at some of the top catering companies and restaurants in Illinois. Chef Jeanine Perla came from an exotic background, serving as a private chef in various capacities and also as a special guest chef on cruise ships and even in a jungle in Costa Rica.

When the pair joined forces, oh! became an immediate hit with a focus on developing seasonally-inspired dishes that supported the local area as much as possible.

"We know how important it is to have excellent food when you are hosting," Perla said when asked why exactly someone should choose Oh! for their catering needs. "We carefully create every menu item from scratch and treat your gathering with the care that we would for our own. Our customers always appreciate our prompt communication and for alleviating any stress that typically comes along with food preparation. We love what we do and people can taste it."

Dybas described the menu at oh! as comfort food with a modern and elegant twist. He cited the "Crowded Plate" as the perfect example, a buffet that includes two options: Turkey Roulade, which is turkey breast rolled with fresh spinach and wrapped with thick cut bacon served in a rich sage pan au jus with a cranberry relish on the side; or a Pork Loin "Leek"ing Apples, which is stuffed with an apple and leek cornbread dressing served with apple cider gravy.

Their favorite item on the menu is Beef Tenderloin Wraps, which is also the top seller on the menu at Oh!

"[It's] the perfect small bite of tenderloin cooked medium rare, sliced and rolled with our garden vegetable cream cheese, green onion flowers and grilled asparagus tops," Perla said.
